Do Your Employees Need Training?
Grant Opportunities
Working in collaboration with the State of New
Jersey Department of Labor, Raritan Valley
Community College can identify grant moneys
available to enhance training needs. Grant
funding can be awarded for many types of
training programs, including literacy, team
building, computer training, and blueprint
reading.
Grant applications are completed on-line and
the application process is streamlined. We can
assist you in the on-line process and help

Funding Available for Competitive Customized
Training Grants for Employers
Investing in Their Workers’ Skills
Competitive Customized Training Funds are
available to upgrade the skills of workers to
make them more marketable and their employers
more competitive in the global economy. This
competitive grant program is made possible under
the New Jersey Workforce Development
Partnership, and is administered by the Office
of Grants Operations (Customized Training Unit).
Beginning July 18, 2007, New Jersey employers
may apply for competitively awarded Customized
Training Grants. The New Jersey Department of
Labor and Workforce Development will set aside
funds for these one-year grants from the New
Jersey Workforce Development Partnership.
